Part one of my Cisco Live journey truly highlighted not only the spectacular sessions but also endless possibilities. But as promised there was so much to cover, we barely scratched the surface last time! But this time around we’ll have that covered as we dive right into more of what the event entailed, an incredible giveaway & more let’s get to it!
Technological Wonderland & Endless Possibilities
Cisco Live 2023 had some incredible takeaways! One was the keynotes that were delivered throughout the entire event!
From the announcement of Webex meeting zones, huge updates to their Full-Stack Observability Platform, Cisco Networking Cloud & their newest Secure Firewall 4200 that will work with their multiload defense service.
Some of the key themes of this year’s event were to reimagine your applications, power your hybrid work & transform your infrastructure. The goal as it’s always been is to keep a completely unified experience across all technologies, applications & networks with more options for consolidation.
Golden Ticket Giveaway & Giving Back!
One of the highlights of Cisco Live was finally getting to meet so many friends & colleagues within the IT community. Among them was the astounding & terrific individuals from Opengear! Partnering with Opengear the last few years has been a blessing in so many ways. Not only working with spectacular individuals such as Analisa Dominic, Ismet Pekin & the entire marketing team. They strive to not only continually deliver the greatest out of band management solution in the game today. But also, continually give back to the IT community in so many ways.
One of which was through a giveaway we conceptualized where the winner received a GOLDEN TICKET! But to find it inside of one of the swag bags was key! Granting them a free certification exam of their choosing. My good friend & fellow champion Steve Kostyk walked away with the prize!
Between the event itself, the giveaway & THEN meeting Darth Vader himself! Cisco Live had nonstop takeaways at every level & it only continued to get better.
Switches, Stacks & Racks!
While walking the show floor in the World Of Solutions, the different solutions & products highlighted were incredible. For me one of those standouts was highlighting not only the newest Webex hardware
but also the incredible lineup of Catalyst switches!
The entire portfolio of 9000 series catalysts showcased not only while they’re powerful, durable & can go the distance. But also, that no matter what environment there’s a solution waiting for you to deploy at every turn!
Cisco Live 2023 was one for the books there’s no question about it, what made it even better was not only having the full support of my company but getting the opportunity to connect with people from all over. Cause at the end of the day that’s what makes this event.
The people, the kind, caring & dedicated individuals who bring such love, innovation & passion to technology & helping others is what truly makes Cisco & this community one unlike any other!
